Miscellaneous criminal activity
See below the rules to follow for committing various crimes around the city. As a general rule of thumb reach out to players to get their OOC consent, especially if you want to do crime on a player or a player’s property. Any actions that affect player owned spaces or assets such as businesses or rentals require permission from the appropriate owner/lead before proceeding. Current business owners can be found on the Community Page. If no owner is listed you can reach out to staff for permission.
If something is not covered below or you are unsure if a specific activity is allowed please ask! We are happy to help.
WEAPONS
We follow Utah rules and regulations for gun ownership. Handguns, Semi-automatic rifles, shotguns, and any weapons that could reasonably be owned by a citizen in the great State of Utah are permissible. Military grade weapons are prohibited without admin approval.
Admin approval would be granted in rare occasions that the story may lead to its acquisition.
FIRE
1. If you are planning to set a fire to a business/rental property please contact the owner of the place first to get OOC permission.
2. If there is no owner listed please contact staff for permission
3. Contact the CFD Chief via discord, this can be done by tagging them with @CFD Chief. If the fire is approved, they will set you up with the specific fire to use that works with our systems and coordinate a time to ensure FD staff will be present.
How to Create a Gang
Read all 3 sections below before proposing a gang of your own

Have interested players
Every group needs a leader, and every leader needs a team. To create a gang you must have 2 interested and ready to play members in addition to the leader. All individuals must have a character registered in Creswell and have a valid drivers license.

Your gang must be built around a clear goal/reason
Why does your gang exist in the first place. Is your characters goal to control all the weapons/drugs that are distributed through the city? Maybe they just want revenge for something another gang had done to them. Maybe their goal is to become partnered with the CPD to push the cards in their favor when it comes to arrests or intel. The possibilities are only limited to your imagination.

The goal isn’t always to win, it’s about the story.
Sometimes a heist just doesn’t go your way. Someones nose got itchy so they lifted their mask to scratch it, and now Brian’s face is plastered all over the city on wanted charges. It happens! Roll with the punches as they come and expect to take some blows. Not everything in life is perfect and we don’t expect it to be in roleplay either.

📌If approved, your gang will become an official faction within Creswell. A member of staff will create a discord group/role for you and your gang members to interact in.
